More iPhone 4 rumors running rampant on the internet, mostly about a Verizon-branded i4. (FYI: Verizon had the opportunity to be the exclusive iPhone carrier but passed on the opportunity and allowed AT&T to capitalize.) According to Cult of Mac, a high source at T-Mobile told them that Apple and T-Mobile’s deal is in the advanced stages and there’s an 80 % chance of T-Mo getting the i4 in the 3rd quarter. Word around the town is that AT&T iPhone exclusivity will be coming to a close this year. Interesting how most of these analysts are running with T-Mo as the next i4 carrier rather than Verizon or even Sprint. As the year comes to a close, we expect to see more evidence on who will be the next in line to carry the i4.
