Looks like the HTC HD2 gets the OS it was destined to have instead of the Windows Mobile 6.5 it came loaded with. Now if you have a HD2 can either port Android 2.1 w/ Sense UI or Android 2.2 OS to work on it. However it is still a work in progress as it will continue to be upgraded and improved upon. Here are the details of the two versions of Android of what works and what doesn’t:
- Calls both incoming and outgoing work you just CANNOT speak to the person nor hear them because the mic and speaker are not yet working, texting works fine however.
- HW3D, sound, GSM, 3G, Data, Wifi and Bluetooth now working in this build!
- Data is problamatic as some large packets cannot be sent or recieved so Data is cosidered only half working at the moment, However you can get to Google!
