Sprint CEO Dan Hesse recently talked with Financial Times and talked about looking into LTE 4G technology to add on top of its WiMax 4G network. The addition or the switch of network would happen if necessary in the future. Hesse also mentioned that it would ‘logical’ to merge with T-Mobile US if both companies are seeking to move to LTE for their 4G networks. There have been a lot of rumors in regards to Sprint buying out T-Mobile US or Deutsche Telekom looking to sell off T-Mo US as well. We’ll look to the road ahead and see what the future of 4G brings with these two carriers or possibly one carrier.
