An analyst for Rodman & Renshaw recently confirmed through a recent report that RIM is definitely working on a BlackBerry Tablet. He also revealed some of the details that the BB Tablet would be equipped with like:
- 1GHz Marvell processor (who makes the 9000 + 9700 processor chips)
- 7inch touchscreen
- armed w/ front & back-facing cameras for videoconferencing
- would have Flash support & a hardware-based Flash accelerator
This would definitely make things more interesting on the BlackBerry side of things which has been recently non-interesting and almost non-existent. We shall see if RIM puts out an actual tablet but in the meantime mark it in the rumor column.
