Rumors have been buzzing about Apple’s up & coming tablet making its way to the stores and now HTC/Google have entered the tablet business as well (both allegedly). Apple’s tablet is said to be a 7 inch multi-touch device (dubbed the iSlate) that could stream TV, music, movies, etc via iTunes as well as browse the net and an e-book reader of sorts all to be priced under $1000 (Nice!) with a January 26th announcement/release date.
HTC is said to be teaming up with Google to prep a Chrome OS tablet which would provide a quicker, cleaner, and cheaper to access the internet. It is also said that HTC has been working with Google for the past 18 months on several tablet prototypes using new Qualcomm processors and Adobe software. More info on the HTC/Google tablet maybe released during this year’s CES Show. Although I’d love to get the Apple tablet, I’d honestly would only be able to afford the HTC/Google one.
