How cheap do you ask? Well how about $50.00 cheap! You are astonished, well don’t be. While Big Red, Verizon, is offering all new customers to their Mobile Broadband (EVDO Rev. A) a netbook, HP Mini w/ a 10.1 inch screen, for $199.99*** plus a 2 year subscription,
AT&T is one up on them. Verizon is starting their plan at $39.99, by the way that only gets you 250 mb, and as high as $59.99, for 5gb a month. AT&T says we will offer, exclusively thru Radio Shack only, an AcerOne Aspire w/ a 8.9 inch screen, $49.99*** plus a 2 year subscription to AT&T Mobile Braodband using their 3G network for the $59.99 5gb plan.
If you think that is a bad idea let me inform you that all carriers (T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and AT&T) cap at 5gb for $59.99 and 250 mb at $39.99 is never enough. Click link for each carrier to see for yourself. Also take a look at over usage for each carrier in their respective links for better comparison.
Well let’s take a look at what you get for 5gbs:
Soon enough all mobile carriers will offer their own netbooks to compliment their mobile broadband plan but you never have to settle for their netbooks. You can purchase your own out right. This is especially if you have trouble getting approved for service. Netbooks start off as low as $249.99 for some of the smaller older models and as expensive as $699.99 and higher for new, bigger screens.
For the price of laptops and notebooks why spends hundreds of dollars more for a smaller size. Remember to spend wisely. Radioshack and AT&T have started out the the gate and in the lead. Follow up to this after the break.
***Please note you have to be approved for the subscription plan to get these netbooks at these discounted prices. ***
