The good folks at the SD Association are coming out with a new memory card format called SDXC (SD eXtended Capacity). Scheduled for release within the 1st quarter of ’09, this bad bad boy holds up to 2TB of memory. No typo yes 2TB!!! Crazy! With a transfer speed of 300MB per second, you can put 100 HD movies, 60 hrs of HD recording or 17,000 fine grades photos. It will probably has a hefty price tag but it will be worth the space. Stay on the look out, we will keep you posted when it becomes available.
