After being pretty much leaked to death, Google made the 3rd-generation Pixels official. We have the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL that are now more capable & powerful.
The Pixel 3 has better displays, better cameras & more AI.
The smaller Pixel 3 offers a 5.5inch LCD display, while the Pixel 3 XL will have a 6.3inch OLED display. Both versions of the Pixel 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 CPU, 4GB of RAM, running Android Pie, 10-watt faster wireless charging, and front-facing stereo speakers that are 40% louder. The Pixel 3s can now use Google Assistant to screen your spam calls and can set a reminder to call back later.
The cameras will be improved as no one has beaten yet in performance. It will be armed w/ a 12MP rear-facing single lens + 8MP dual lenses (one a standard f/1.8 & the other a wide-angle f/2.2). As well as Google Lens will be always running whenever your camera is open. You got Super Res Zoom that allows for digital zoom w/o the noise. Group Selfie Cam feature thanks to its 2nd wider front-facing shooter. The Playground feature adds animated characters to interact w/ you in your photos like Iron Man, Hulk, & coming soon Childish Gambino.
Verizon will be the exclusive carrier for the Pixel again for the 3rd-time in a row. YouTube Music will be free for 6 months for Pixel 3 owners. It will arrive in Really Black, Just White, & Not Pink color options. Pixel 3 starts at $799 for the 64GB, the Pixel 3XL starts at $899 while the 128GB storage size will be $100 more.
