Sony has been teasing images like this and this on Twitter about the upcoming “Xperia Z1” also known as the “Honami”. The company is trying to draw as much buzz as possible for the upcoming flagship phone. Sony hopes that the 20.2MP camera sensor on their upcoming Android flagship will attract more consumers.
Sony looks to join Nokia with high-end cameras on phones.
The phone is rumored to have a 5-inch 1080p Triluminos display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and an impressive 20.2-megapixel Sony G lens camera. The design appears to match the previous Xperia high-end devices. Sony is expected to debut their new smartphone at IFA in Berlin on September 4th.
