This morning, Sprint announced they plan to offer two new Windows Phone 8 devices to add to their smartphone selection. With one from HTC and one from Samsung as both devices will become available sometime this summer. We got the full details on both below.
The HTC 8XT is a bit of a refresh from the popular 8X line. HTC equipped this with a 4.3inch display, powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage that’s expandable to 64GB via microSD, dual cameras (1.6MP in front + 8MP on the rear), HTC’s front-facing BoomSound speakers, and a 1800 mAh battery. The 8XT will have a $99 price tag on it after a $50 mail-in rebate.
The Samsung ATIV S Neo is a play on the Galaxy S4’s design for Windows Phone. This ATIV offers a 4.8inch HD display, powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage thats’ expandable via microSD, dual cameras ( 1.9MP in front + 8MP on the rear), NFC support, and a 2000 mAh battery. The ATIV S Neo will have a $149.99 price tag after a $50 mail-in rebate.
With both of these being the carrier’s first devices running Windows Phone 8, they are off to great start.
