Verizon looks to be making some changes this year along with the arrival of their 4G LTE smartphones.    Effective beginning January 16th, Verizon’s return policy gets cut short from 30 days now to only 14 days to decide whether or not to keep your device or not.   Less time means less time for torn VZW subscribers.   Along with this the number one US carrier is also doing away with the ability for an early upgrade.    So gone is the option for an early upgrade within 13 to 20 months into your two-year contract.  Starting also on January 16th, you’ll be able to upgrade four months earlier only.   But who cares about either of these two policies when the iPhone arrives, right?
