Today Microsoft continues to make Xbox 360 even better by adding more popular apps continuing with making it the ‘Future Of TV’.   Today, the console adds Comcast’s XFINITY TV, HBO GO, and MLB.tv apps available for Xbox Live subscribers – all offering Kinect navigation support.  For those of you who are unaware, don’t get too excited as all three apps require their own premium subscription in addition to your Live Gold membership.

XFINITY TV and HBO GO both offer on-demand content for those who subscribe to Comcast and/or HBO with their cable provider.   With HBO GO, you will have access to their entire library of original series like Game Of Thrones, The Wire, The Sopranos, & Boardwalk Empire.   You’ll also have access to HBO original films, miniseries, sports, documentaries, specials, and select movies.

The MLB.tv app offers baseball fans access to all Spring Training games, watch every out-of-market game live or in the game archives, game recaps, split screen to watch two games at once, as well as a mini guide to keep up with all of the scores at the bottom of the screen.   Sharing similar abilities as the ESPN app.

They are definitely offering more reason to pick up an Xbox over another console.   Good job Microsoft.  Keep it up.
