Last time we spoke about Sprint’s pending merger, DISH network tried to interrupt Softbank’s deal.   DISH may have an even harder time as the Softbank merger was just cleared by the Department Of Justice.  While the deal is far from being finalized, it still requires approval from the FCC.   DISH can still intervene and they have a separate deal to buy the Clearwire, in which Sprint owns half of.  They are really adamant in getting into the cellular market.  DISH has the $$$ and the spectrum many struggling carriers would need to take their network to the next level.
