Today is finally the day!  Google made the Nexus 5 official on the Play Store.  No big announcements just a blog post and a barrage of tech media coverage.  It’s everything the rumors and leaks said it was.

Running the latest version of Android 4.4 Kit Kat, sporting a 4.96inch IPS display w/ 1080p resolution, powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM, choice of 16GB or 32GB of storage, a 2300 mAh battery, dual cameras (1.3MP in front + 8MP on the rear w/ low-light sensor + OIS), LTE support, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi ac, NFC, dual mics, and wireless charging support as well.  Thanks to Android 4.4 Kit Kat, this Nexus now has Voice Actions where you can do everything hands-free like on the Moto X.  More on the latest Android update a bit later.  
You can order yours now form the Google Play Store w/ the pricing starting at $349 for the 16GB & $399 for the 32GB.  Both Sprint (Spark compatible) and T-Mobile will offer the latest Nexus on their carriers alongside Amazon, Best Buy, & Radio Shack.
