Twitter has kept the Android Community waiting long enough. After a few tweets from users here and there pleading with Twitter, Periscope finally makes it’s way officially to Android.
Periscope and Twitter have had some rough competition with the first to Android market, Meerkat that operates very much in the same manner as Periscope, on iOS. Today the Big Blue Bird released it’s latest creation to Android. Though Meerkat has a few hundred thousand downloads already, Periscope can and may definitely over take them.
As an Android user, I was initially upset to find that there were streamers and viewers but not the actually app, but that is no longer my concern. I was honestly resenting the fact that iOS had the app but found Meerkat a very comfortable solution, now with both available I am a happy tech guy.
Nevertheless, enjoy, as we allow the rest of the world to take a look into our lives with Periscope.
