There were talks of the Tesla’s Model S getting an update and it seems like it was spot on. Today Tesla unveiled a refreshed Model S for the masses to enjoy. There are several new tricks along for the ride – mostly on the inside.
For starters, you can see the new headlights design w/ a new grill-less front to better align the Model S design w/ the X and newly-christened 3 vehicles. On the inside, you got the bioweapon defense mode from the Model X which brings over the aggressive cabin air filtration system. You now have a 48-amp charger which adds faster charging capabilities to the mix. All of this makes for a more aerodynamic efficiency to help it make it a bit faster as well.
You still have the 90kWh battery on board as rumors suggested the update would include a 100 kWh battery. Nonetheless, it is a welcome update for those of you who have yet to order their Model S yet.
