Finally! Google finally adding a missing component to Google Maps: help w/ finding parking. This is definitely something that I have been waiting for. Especially driving out to NYC for events, this will be vital for events happening before 6PM.
So when navigating w/ the app, you will be able to utilize a find parking option to pull up parking lots & garages nearby your location. This will included parking/walking directions to park as well. As per yesterday, the new feature is only available on Android.
You’ll be able to use if you live in these cities: Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas/Fort Worth, DC, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, and Tampa.
