Well there have been rumors & rumblings of another Nintendo Switch device coming and earlier this morning it became official.  Meet the Nintendo Switch Lite w/ slight differences for $100 less.

The Switch Lite takes a few things off from the original Switch.

So want to know what the differences are?  The Switch Lite has no built-in kickstand, no way to connect it to the TV, the Joy Con controllers are non-removable, and no automatic brightness for the screen as you’ll have to do it manually.  However, the Switch Lite brings forth a smaller 5.5inch 720p display, adds a full D-Pad instead of just arrows, and a slightly longer battery life.  Outside of those things, everything is the same between the Switch and the Switch lite.

The new Switch Lite is due out on September 20th alongside w/ Link’s Awakening for the Switch as well.  It will arrive in a few colors of Yellow, Grey, Turquoise, and a Light Grey Pokemon Edition.  For those of you who held out on picking up a Switch, is this the one for you?
