Rumor has it that the sexier, Android-powered, 4G version of the HD2 (the HTC EVO 4G) is slated for a June 13th release. I am definitely looking forward to this device after playing with the HD2. Along with the EVO 4G not being too far along, there is word on the pricing on the mobile hotspot service. Looks like $10 or $20 monthly service could be the price tag for the EVO’s 8 device Wi-Fi service w/ 4G compatibility. Good move Sprint by acquiring this device and we’ll conitnue to keep an eye on you. If this is the actual release date, this will definitely be a hot summer in the smartphone world.
