You have read the headline and thought, I can go to About Phone > Check for System Updates to do this. That is true but there is a more surefire way about doing it as well. Just go to your Android device’s Phone dialer and hit *#*#2432546#*# and you should get the update notification. Some of you may or may not receive anything, some of you may get a system update to fix bugs, and even less may get an OS update to a higher version of Android (wishful thinking). Android 2.2 and 2.3 is at the top of many of your list of wants but waiting maybe in your future.
