Having receiving great praises for the NEX-7, Sony rolls another in the NEX series with the entry level F3.   Adding rubber grip, pop-up flash, 1080p video, and 180-degree tilting LCD display to a lightweight camera body that ships with a 18-55mm lens to get you started with.   The NEX-F3 is set to replace the entry level NEX-C3 model as they begin to phase out.

The F3 newest features include: a 1/4000 shutter speed, 16,000 ISO max, using internal battery that charges via microUSB, 15 different filters, 11 shooting modes, raises picture quality when cropping photos by filling in missing pixels using Pixel Super Resolution technology, and digitally doubles the magnification of any lens using the Clear Image Zoom feature.  All this for the lovely price of $599.99 as it is scheduled to arrive in June in Black, Silver, or White colors.

Also, Sony announced a new lightweight Telephoto 18-200mm lens with a 11x optical zoom.   The new telephoto lens is made to be small & easy to carry as it has an Optical SteadyShot to make up for the occasional shaky hands.   Priced at $850 and is due out in July.
