Yesterday, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment & DC Entertainment announced the fighting game called Injustice: Gods Among Us. Injustice will be handled NetherRealm, the company behind last year’s Mortal Kombat game. Starting a new gaming franchise using the Mortal Kombat engine in a new original story where the lines between good and evil have been blurred as several characters in the DC Universe go head-to-head.
Among the Gods are Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Solomon Grundy, and Harley Quinn to name a few at your disposal. From everything mentioned, it seems like they took a cue from DC Vs. Mortal Kombat and made an original story and expect to see little or damn-near no gore in this one. Gamers can expect to see more on this in the near future as the game is set to launch in 2013 for PS3, Xbox 360, & Wii U.
