And lastly, Apple revamped two fo their iPods w/ the iPod Touch and iPod nano. The new iPod Touch features are similar to that of the iPhone 5 while the new nanos are more like an iPod Touch mini. Lets get into it shall we?
The new iPod nano (shown above) doesn’t quite run a real version of iOS, more like a half-baked, basic OS that runs a variety of select apps like Nike ID+, Music, Photos, Video, & Podcasts to name a few. The nano offers Bluetooth, FM tuner, and a pedometer all within a 2.5inch touchscreen display w/ a Home button. Available this October in seven different colors in one storage size of 16GB for $149.
The new iPod Touch offers the same 4inch display as the i5 w/ an 1136 x 640 resolution, powered by the A5 processor, running iOS 6, equipped with a f/2.4 5MP iSight auto-focus camera w/ LED flash, FaceTime HD front-facing shooter, 2.4GHz/5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi, and a battery life suggesting 40 hours of music playback. Siri, iPhoto, & AirPlay support is added to the iPod Touch. The new iTouch comes equipped with a plastic lanyard accessory called the Loop. The new iPod Touch will become available September 14th also in seven colors with the pricing ranging from $299 (32GB), $399 (64GB).
