According to the trustworthy sources at AllThingsD, Apple will likely hold an invite-only event to officially announce the long-awaited iPad Mini to the world. The event will likely be held at Apple’s Town Hall Auditorium in California on October 23rd to beat Microsoft’s Surface tablet unveiling which takes place three days later. Definitely keeping the tablet wars fresh amongst competitors.
The iPad Mini is said to offer a 7.85inch LCD display w/ a non-Retina display (more like the iPad 2), a sleeker & thinner body design, and using the new Lightning port. Rumored price point is around the $200-$300 for a Wi-Fi only version. This is the real deal folks.
