According to sources close to Fortune, Apple will be sending out press invites for their upcoming iPad Mini event on October 10th. If this holds out to be true, Apple could unveil the smaller iPad on October 17th and an early November launch. The rumored iPad Mini is said to have a 7.85inch display, specs matching that of the iPad 2 with a $200-$300 price point.
This will make quite the Christmas gift for many. Apple will have a killer 4th quarter. I plan on snatching one up once it becomes available. Are you?
