With just over one week before its official unveiling, more and more details about Samsung’s upcoming flagship Android device are coming to light. Earlier this morning both GSM Israel & SamMobile, got a hold of some screenshots that revealed an interesting new feature. Within the slightly tweaked TouchWiz UX running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, lies a new Smart Scrolling feature.
Smart Scrolling will allow you to scroll through pages by tracking your eyes using a new, unknown technology. Another accompanying feature is called Smart Pause, that will pause any videos when you turn away from the device. Samsung unveiled a similar feature with the GS III called Smart Stay which used the front-facing camera to track when you were looking at the screen to keep it lit and when you turned away, it began the countdown to the screen timeout.
Brave new world we are entering folks. And based on the screenshots (which look legit), this thing is coming. Still waiting for the flying cars and other random Jetson-like technology to come. Below are more screenshots confirming some the new specs on the GS IV.
