With the new iPhone on the horizon for this summer, many consumers are asking what kinds of changes are coming to the next version of iOS. Apple’s mobile software has been the same more or less since its inception back in 2007. Apple fanatics, consumers, and myself alike have been clamoring for a fresh, new look for iOS.
This new vision of iOS 7 has been crafted courtesy of Federico Bianco. This concept shows widget support, quick settings, quick reply, Mission Control, and a customizable lock screen. All of this gives iOS users access to things they have been waiting for. Android already has a better user experience and offers more usefulness with the OS without being completely customizable. I, for one, would love to see some implications of this brought into iOS 7.
With Jony Ive now at the helm of both hardware and software that may exactly happen. We already got word on latest developments of iOS 7. What do you guys think about this? Is this something you would like to see in the next version of iOS?
