According to the folks over at TechCrunch, Instagram recently acquired a company Luma in order to do so.  Luma is an iOS app dedicated to your phone’s video camera.  This app specializes in real-time video stabilization and real-time video filters too.  The filters allow you to add/remove at different parts of your video.  The app even allows you to use pinch-to-zoom in video.  

It is said that Instagram is already utilizing Luma’s video stabilization feature already.  I think we can anticipate video filters coming to Instagram but time will tell.  This move will turn Facebook’s Instagram into quite the mobile photo + video powerhouse.
