It’s September and you know what that usually means. It’s Apple’s time to reveal their new iPhone hardware + software. We shared with you all of the rumors, photos, and hearsay. Now the time is finally upon us. The official invites went out earlier this week for Apple’s iPhone event. As far as we know, Apple is set to unveil three new products pertaining to the iPhone: the iPhone 5S, the iPhone 5C (or whatever the final name will be) and iOS 7. We got the full details in one spot for you below.
The iPhone 5S is expected to offer a 31% faster dual-core A7 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP camera w/ lower aperture + dual LED flash for improved low-light performance, fingerprint scanner on the Home button, a third color option of Champagne that joins White and Black/Slate, and a new 128GB storage option. For those of you waiting for a bigger display from Apple, don’t expect that until next year’s model – possibly.
The budget iPhone 5C is expected to have plastic shell, the same 4inch display, running the same A6 CPU as in the iPhone 5, 8MP rear-shooter, and possibly no Siri or on board. The fingerprint scanner could make its way to cheaper iPhone but we will have to wait until the event to find out for sure.
And finally the all-new iOS 7 will offer a plethora of visual and other changes throughout the OS.
