Sony updated their PlayStation blog this morning to inform us that a new update is coming to the PS4. This update will be v1.70 and it will be the console’s 1st big software update as it will add a new video-editing feature called SHAREfactory. This will allow gamers to put together their desired gameplay footage w/ themes, transitions, text, your own music, and picture-in-picture commentary using the PS Eye camera. You can also share your newly created video on Facebook too or export to a USB device.
The new update also adds the ability to pre-download certain pre-ordered games days in advance. So you don’t have to wait longer than necessary to play the new new. Unfortunately, there is no word of an exact release date for the new update but we’ll keep you posted when it becomes available.
