As we approach August, its just a matter of time before we see the next generation Moto X device become official. After the original Moto X launched last year, its been a good all-around Android device that can be customized to your liking. I didn’t mind the display but desired a better camera. The folks over at Android Police got some shots of a near-final prototype of the Moto X+1 or whatever the final name will be.
The screen is said to be bigger, now at 5.1inches over the 4.7inches of last year’s model. We still see a customization still present in the newer model in the images above w/ the wooden back. We see an obviously larger camera lens within a circular module that has 2 LED flashes. Other than that, precious reports suggest it to offer a 1080p display, powered by a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 2900 mAh battery, and possible 5MP shooter in front + 12MP on the rear.
The Moto X+1 is said to launch side-by-side w/ the Moto 360 Android Wear, which many have been waiting for. What do you think of this production model thus far?
