For starters, this is not a Retina MacBook Air but just one w/ a higher resolution. What we are looking at are rendering of the next-gen Air courtesy of 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman. Its is codenamed the MacBook Stealth.
Welcome to what will more than likely be the 2015 Air.
The new design is reminiscent of the popular Samsung Chromebook 550 in some ways. The new model looks to sport redesigned function + arrow keys w/ the keyboard sitting damn-near on the palm rest. Speakers are now above the keyboard as it ships w/ a new higher resolution display. It is overall smaller + more narrow w/ a lot less clicky trackpad.
