weekend stream 8

Now that CES has wrapped up, time to get things back or close to some type of normalcy around here.  It's been quiet on the review side of things as there is already a good amount of things in our queue that's being worked on.   Just hang in there a bit.  We also have a giveaway on the horizon as it could come as early as next week.

Glass goes from a Google X product to its own division under Nest, the Xbox One is now $350 again, Project Ara gets closer to retail launch and Verizon unveiled their aftermarket connected car system.  We got another trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron and last week the Ant-Man teaser trailer as well.  They're already getting us excited for Cap 3: Civil War as we just lost Rick Flagg in DC's Suicide Squad.

Let's kick off our 1st Weekend Stream for 2015 w/ some laid-back tunes along w/ our picks for streaming visuals.

friends TV show

Friends (Netflix)

Just about everyone's favorite TV comedy about 6 NY friends w/ most of them living in the same building as they all hangout at the Insomnia Cafe where they discuss problems, talk about their issues: love life, finances, etc.  This went on to become one of the most watched TV shows in history along w/ the actors being the highest paid as well.  The entire series has landed on Netflix for all to enjoy or get to know.  Long live 'Smelly Cat'.

Michael Fassbender as Frank

Frank (Netflix)

This is not gonna be for everyone.  This is a short tale of an-always tweeting aspiring musician who joins the most eccentric band you've ever seen.   The lead singer whose name matches the title of the movie never takes off his fake head.  Frank performs, eats, sleeps, & bathes w/ it on.  Never seeing Michael Fassbender's face throughout the entire movie until the end.  The rest of the band consist of the bi-polar-like Maggie Gyllenhaal, the depressed Scoot McNairy, and others.
