iPhone 6 displayAt this point, its safe to say Force Touch-supported screen is set to be unveiled on Wednesday.  We kind of have a vague idea of how it will be used but thanks to the folks over at 9to5Mac, we now have even more info.

Force Touch which is already on the Apple Watch will go by another moniker for the 2015 iPhones.  Apple will be unveiling 3D Touch Display aka Force Touch panels to the new S line of the iPhone 6.  Now don’t get alarmed when you hear 3D Touch Display as Apple is going completely left field.

The 3D doesn’t stand for 3-Dimensional but rather 3 different input methods of touch: namely taps, presses, and a deep press.  These 3 different input will provide different menus or actions to appear based on whatever app, settings or homescreen page you’re on.  This tech is also set to arrive to the iPad Pro as well.

Does this pique your interest for Force Touch on your next iPhone?
