Now that we’ve seen the entry-mid level Nexus smartphone, now it’s time to see the big boy take the plate.  Officially introducing the Nexus 6P by Huawei as this is the 1st premium, all-metal Nexus to take to the stage.

The Nexus 6P is large & luxurious compared to any other Nexus we’ve seen.

Everything more or less matched up w/ the leaks & speculation.  So expect to see a 5.7inch QHD (2K) AMOLED display + 518ppi, powered by a Snapdragon 810 v2.1 CPU, 3GB of RAM, running Android 6.0 Marshmallow (obviously), arrives in 32GB/64GB/128GB storage configurations, Google’s Nexus Imprint fingerprint scanner, and charges via USB-C.

Now onto the cameras, on the rear we have a f/2.0 12.3MP Sony sensor that utilizes laser-assisted autofocus.  It can shoot burst mode at 30fps, slow-motion at 240fps, and 4K video as well.  On the front side of things, there is a f/2.4 8MP selfie camera.  Also sporting the new Google Camera app w/ improved optics to offer better photos.

The Nexus 6P starts at $499 as pre-order kick off today and ships in late October.  It will be unlocked to work on all US carriers as well as Project Fi.  The freebies include a $50 Google Play credit and a 90-day free trial of Google Play Music.  How’re you guys thoughts on the larger, premium Nexus?  Which one are you gonna get?
