EvLeaks, from leaker now contributing to Venture Beat, just updated their Galaxy S7 article w/ images. Press renders to be exact but this our official 1st look at the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge for 2016. Just as it was described, there isn’t a huge departure from the design language of the Galaxy S6 but there are differences.
For starters, we definitely see a larger sensor for the front-facing shooter shooter, a less rounder Home button/fingerprint scanner, and still retaining the iPhone-like essence. As far as features/specs are concerned, we’re anticipating a pressure sensitive screen a la 3D Touch, bigger batter, waterproof abilities, a microSD card slot, and a 12MP shooter to perform better in low-light.
Interestingly enough, the date on the renders say February 21st which aligns w/ the timing of unveilings set to kick off at MWC next month. See the Galaxy S6 family on the left and the Galaxy S7 family on the right just for a side-by-side comparison.
