Last week, DICE revealed their new Battlefield game after a day-long countdown.  Say hello to Battlefield 1: bringing you the trenches, horses, mustard gas, and much more in a World War I setting.  They called it the birth of modern warfare.

Looks like DICE took the route some would say COD should’ve took it to, World War I.

You will have a single-player campaign and a 64-player multiplayer battle.  The new game will bring forth early 20th century guns, grenades, poisonous gases. flamethrowers, shovels, maces, etc.  Taking place in a variety of locations like the Swiss Alps, French cities, and the deserts of Arabia.

The new Battlefield is set to arrive on October 21st for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.  There will be a standard edition available for $60, Early Enlister Deluxe Edition for $80, and a collector’s edition for $220.

This looks good as the competition is getting higher as the new COD is dropping around the same time.  Which one are you picking up?  Or are you doing both?
