Yesterday, Google announced a new key feature that many consumers have been clamoring for.  The addition of Bluetooth speakers as a part of multi-room audio played via Google Home (speakers & the app).

You would just pair a Bluetooth speaker via the Google Home app.  You can also add the speakers to a group for multi-room playback.  You can even utilize voice control over the Bluetooth speaker volume as well.  Now you won’t get Google Assistant abilities on Bluetooth speakers just the music streaming ability.  So no asking your UE Booms about it questions, the weather, & more as it won’t speak back.

So you won’t need to add a Chromecast Audio or buy more Google Home speakers.  Especially if you have several Bluetooth speakers laying around the house.  The Google Home Mini sold like hotcakes so you now add more punch to your tunes as well.
