Say hello to the 2019 model of the K900 from Kia. Unveiled at the 2018 NY Auto Show, we see a reimagined K900 to bring forth more tech & safety into their luxury sedan. This actually marks the 2nd-gen model of Kia's top of the line sedan. Let's get into all of the new bells & whistles involved, shall we?

  • We have the new Quadric pattern signature grille that utilizes 176 jewel-like cells to mimic the way ripples in water move away from an impact of a splash.
  • New duplex headlamps
  • satin chrome flash running along the base of the doors & lower section of the rear
  • 19inch allow wheels
  • metal veneers & choice of up to 4 kinds of open pore matte wood selections (Walnut, Brown Olive Ash, Beige Olive Ash, & Engineered Wood)
  • heated/cooled seats in the front as well as the rear (optional)
  • both front & rear seats offer 12-way & 14-way adjusters
  • new mood lighting system that offers up to 64 colors in total from the Pantone Institute of color
  • interaction lighting that use proximity sensors when the driver's hand is reaching for a switch on the dashboard

  • 12.3inch Human Machine Interface touchscreen that displays maps, trip info, audio, climate control, Premium Navigation, Kia's UVO luxe which offers everything from the other UVO trims but adds its own hotspot, control via UVO smartphone, and a wireless phone charger.
  • You even have a 9.7inch Heads-Up Display to monitor your speed, navigation, audio & more while keeping you r eyes on the road.
  • Kia's ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) that utilizes 4 cameras to offer 360-degree perspective for a seamless stitched-together view.
  • Blind Spot Monitor for alive feed of adjacent lanes activated by your turn signal.
  • RCAA (Rear Cross Traffic Avoidance) that applies the brakes automatically when backing up & the car detects something or someone crossing paths w/ the car.
  • 900-watt 17 speaker system by Harman Kardon/Lexicon w/ QuantumLogic Surround Sound technology & Clari-Fi.
  • 3.3liter twin turbo V6 CVVT (Dual Continuous Variable Valve Timing) engine w/ 365-hp & 376lbs of torque + 8-speed automatic transmission.
  • Electronically Controlled Suspension to tune the chassis performance.

We got no word on pricing but we can presume the price point will be the ballpark of what the K900 goes for now. Currently, it starts at around $50,000 MSRP, BTW. The new K900 is set to go on sale later this year as pricing will be announced then.
