A new year means new technology to be utilized within TVs. They already revealed their Micro-LED Wall TV and 8K TVs for consumers so you might ask what's next? More details on their QLED TVs to be exact. Yesterday, Samsung raised the curtain on their newest QLED TV lineup for 2018. They made sure to add new features to make your TV the center of your home.
As you can see above, Samsung made sure to implement their bezel-less & seamless design from The Wall. They got a new Ambient mode that displays useful info when the TV isn't in use. So you can play music along w/ showing off news headlines, traffic, & weather updates.
And for wall-mounted TVs, they can copy the pattern behind the wall to pull off the seamless wall-look. They have a One Invisible Connection that uses one slim cable for power & audio/visual data to your TV for up to 15 meters. Making it easier to setup TVs no where near an outlet.
On the higher-end Q8F & Q9F QLED TVs, Samsung utilizes Direct Full Array technology that uses a panel w/ zones of smart controlled backlighting to automatically adjust to create deeper blacks & more pure whites for colors.
And last but not least, Samsung made sure to mesh their smart tech to make these Smart TVs even smarter. They integrated their SmartThings app to control compatible devices straight form your TV. Then you have Bixby built-in which gives your voice control for pulling up your favorite shows & to control connected devices. You also got HDR10+ on select TVs as well.
