anker soundcore flaresAnker is looking to do more w/ their audio to expand more beyond to be known for more than just battery packs.  Earlier this week, we got a chance to check out some of the new things arriving on the new Soundcore audio line of products.  Previously, it was just smaller Bluetooth speakers but now has more offer.

For starters, we got the Flare & Flare+ Bluetooth speakers as you can see above.  You got 360-degree sound w/ a decent amount of bass, an IPX7 fully waterproof body, stereo pairing, and lights up at the bottom of the speaker that can be customized to different colors/patterns based on the music output.  The design language reminds you of the Echo from Amazon but lacking any virtual assistant support.

There are a few differences between the Flare & the Flare+.  The Flare is the smaller of the 2, standard 360-degree sound, and a 12-hour battery life for $59 out next month (Amazon 5/7 + Walmart 5/14).  While the Flare+ is slightly larger, offers a bigger 360-degree sound, and a 20-hour battery life for $99 coming in August.

The noise cancellation was pretty good although not quite killing the competition but it overall offers everything in a nice affordable package at $99.  The Space NCs will go on sale at Brookstone & Walmart on 5/14 and on Amazon by the end of the month.

And lastly, we have the Liberty Lite wireless earbuds which are their version of the Airpods or Jabra Elites.  It will cost you $69 and offers 3.5 hours of battery per charge.  These are due out sometime in June.

So who's looking to dive into the Soundcore world of Anker w/ this new line of products?
