We’ve been using the Android P public beta for a little over 12 hours now and still getting used to some of the newer things.  They made sure not to make it too difficult so not rooting just simply signing up for their public beta just so as long as you have the right device.

So usually you can just enjoy the new version of Android on the Pixels (Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, & Pixel 2 XL).   But thanks to new improvements to Project Treble, more phones are finally added to the list.  So if you got the Essential Phone, Nokia 7 Plus, Oppo R15 Pro, OnePlus 6, Sony Xperia XZ2, Vivo X21UD, Vivo X21, or a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S; you too can enjoy the newness that is Android P.

You may have noticed that the OnePlus 6 is on the list and not the OnePlus 5T.  The company says the beta will open on May 16th when the phone launches.  So they wanted to make sure you early adopters are covered.
