Amazon is looking to get the leg up on the competition in the virtual assistant game.  Looks Amazon is ready to take Alexa outside of your homes and put it in your hotel room.

Coming soon to Marriott Hotels, guests will be able to ask Alexa for hotel info, guest services, playing music, adjusting room controls (lighting/temperature), and more using Alexa’s current skills.  This will be under the Alexa for Hospitality branding.

The Wynn in Vegas is one of the 1st hotels to utilize an echo in all of their 4,748 rooms to be its virtual concierge.  So if you’re traveling to the Marriott in Charlotte, NC or Irvine, CA in the near future.  Alexa for Hospitality will begin rolling out internationally later this season.

Who’s interested in trying this out or have you not gotten over them recording a private conversation?
