I thoroughly enjoyed DirecTV Now during my time using it. Sucks that the price is about to go up on the service. Thanks to the folks over at Cord Cutters, they noticed that later this month all of their packages goes up by $5.
This would make their cheapest packages $40 per month & their premium package $75 per month. But don’t go to crazy as Sling TV & YouTube TV just did the same thing over the past few months w/ their packages starting at $40. So when exactly later this month, July 26th to be exact. So new customers will see the new pricing then while current customers will vary depending on their billing cycle.
I know w/ AT&T buying Time Warner would have customers hoping for the best. But so far, you got this, admin fees, and grandfathered unlimited data users – all getting a price hike. Well, at least you still have the $15 WatchTV option – at least until that pricing spikes after a while.
