The Honor brand is keeping the ball rolling w/ their new device making its way to the US & globally.  Introducing the Honor 8X: bringing more flagship features to their mid-range line of devices.

The Honor 8X brings a lot to the table.  We have a 6.5inch FullView display w/ 2340 x 1080 resolution + 91% screen-to-body ratio, powered by their new Kirin 970 CPU + GPU Turbo, choice of 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage expandable via microSD, running EMUI 8.2 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo, rear-facing 20MP + 2MP depth-sensing cameras, front-facing 16MP selfie camera, Bluetooth 4.2, headphone jack, and a 3750 mAh battery.

The 8X does offer some new tricks up its sleeve like offering a 2.5D double-texture glass body (no IP rating though), a screen that is certified by the TUV Rheinland for a blue-light reduction in both sunlight + night time, AI implemented throughout the device to help out w/ everything from low-light night mode on the camera to switching to the best cell towers.

We went to the launch event for it in NYC last week and over the weekend we got one to play with.  We’ll be running it through our testing and follow up w/ a full review for you all.  Yeah, so the month of October just keeps getting busier and busier for me.  This is a great time to be a techie though.

We’ll make sure to update you all w/ pricing and availability for it.  In the meantime, let us know what you want to be covered in our review for it.
