Earlier this month, Tesla rolled out their new 9.0 software for its vehicles.  It was a huge update that brought along many features along w/ it like dashcam, gaming while parked, & more.  However, one of them was on hold to tighten up some things before being ready.  That was the Navigate on Autopilot feature.  On Friday evening, that changed.  

Navigate on Autopilot gives the car close to being able to drive on its own.  It utilizes several cameras, sensors, etc to figure out what objects are within the car’s vicinity to help navigate.  Mind you, the data goes back to the company for their vision & neural net system to get better.  You would enable the feature within the Autopilot menu as it offers 4 settings for speed-based lane changes: disabled, mild, average, & Mad Max.
