Another addition to all of the Google Assistant wave is the arrival of it to Verizon’s HumX connected car solution. If you’re unaware, the HumX connects to your car and can alert you for any issues, responds to crashes, get you roadside assistance, share your location, mobile hotspot, NumberShare, hands-free calls.
So w/ all that HumX can do, you might wonder what can the addition of Google Assistant do for me? Well, you can now use the Assistant to access everyday HumX actions like locate a vehicle, access trip history, create a speed alert, how much gas you have left, and more via voice.
So if you’re interested, you can pick up the 2nd-gen HumX sometime in Q1. And those of you who already own one, you’ll be able to get the feature via update. Verizon didn’t say exactly when though.
