Well, that didn’t take long. Samsung is ready to begin shipping out their 2019 line of OLED TV announced last month at CES. This means their new 4K & 8K sets as well as their RU budget line and update Frame + Serif lines too.
The top of the line Q90 & Q80 series touts their new Ultra Viewing Angle technology that allows for less glare & a great picture no matter where you’re seated. The higher Q-line (Q90, Q80, Q70) offers full-array local dimming that allows the rear LEDs to adjust brightness or turn off depending on the scene for the best in contrast + black levels.
All of the 2019 TVs will offer better AI features allowing the TV to automatically adjust audio/picture settings based on the content. They’ll also include the iTunes Movies & Video app w/ AirPlay2 support coming later this year via software update. Bixby gets an update along w/ Alexa & Google Assistant support slated to arrive this year as well. It will offer better gaming options w/ an Auto Game Mode, Game Motion Plus & FreeSync support.
