The latest smartwatch from Huawei that was announced back in October is finally coming to the US. We’re talking about the Huawei Watch GT of course. This is the company’s different take on what they’ve been doing w/ their wearables.
The Watch GT offers a 1.39inch AMOLED display w/ 454 x 254 resolution, a glass + ceramic bezel in a steel case, Cortex M4 CPU, 16MB of RAM, 128MB of storage, built-in GPS/GLONASS/Galileo satellite position systems, 5 ATM water-resistant, an optical heart-rate monitor, a potential 2-week battery life, and health tracking for sleep(deep, light, REM,awake, & naps), running, cycling, and swimming.
So instead of wearOS, we’re getting Huawei’s own LiteOS that is based on their fitness wearables software. The Watch GT will arrive in 2 color/material options: the Graphite Black + silicone strap for $200 & the Leather/silicone combo strap in Saddle Brown for $230.
We just got ours over the weekend, so we’ll be putting it though some testing before we give you our full review. Let us know what questions you want answered about it. But if you don’t want to wait, you can pick yours up at the link below.
