Next on the Apple unveiling, a gaming subscription service called Apple Arcade. But this isn’t another game-streaming service but more so just for downloadable games.
The Arcade service will curate through the over 300,000 game s already on the App Store as well as the 100 new & exclusive titles for the service. With the service, you’ll have access to all of the game features, content, & future updates w/o any ads present. You will be able to demo the games before downloading the full title.
Apple has teamed up w/ many gaming studios for exclusive gaming like Annapurna Interactive, Bossa Studios, Cartoon Network, Finji, Giant Squid, Klei Entertainment, Konami, Lego, Mistwalker Corporation, SEGA, Snowman, ustwo games, and more.
Apple Arcade will be launching sometime later this year in more than 150 countries. Unfortunately, Apple didn’t unveil the pricing for it yet so there’s that.
